I actually thought I looked cute in that little comic strip Vanessa drew and. . *Stares blankly at Henk again, still dumbfounded* but I. . *Blinks* |

I think he was refering to the way some people, when holding small children, will throw them into the air and catch them. And yes, you do look cute in that little comic strip Vanessa drew. |

My, what an interesting proposal. I'm afraid Labrn's the tea fan. I'm a lady of wine myself.
As far as teaching you to dance, that's not really my thing either Henk. I mean, I can dance, but my kind of style requires one to feel the music, and usually have a firm gentleman to play the part of a poll. |

Oh, do you prefer "classic" or "latin" styles? |

Well, I can claim neither for her. Put something with a beat on, a good rhythm, and you might see her move. |

Why didn't I take that speed-reading course?!?! |

So, wait, a gentleman has to play the part of.. voting? Sorry, I shouldn't take your typo so seriously, but sometimes I just can't help it.
Perhaps I should take up a job as a palace guard, they're good at standing still like a pole; it would give me good practice. |

Oh dear, I didn't even catch that since my spell check didn't go off, and neither did Ashton.
However, that brings up a whole new set of levels for people to take the elevator to. Like political posters that simply read, "I want you" and that's all. |

For some reason, that reminds me of a quote; I can't remember who said it, but they said that one thing could be said of Bill Clinton as president - "he did f*** all". It's true whichever meaning you give to the phrase. |

I noticed both times, I just did'nt mention it. I've been annoying a lot of people lately with my constant corrections so I thought it might be a good idea to practice not correcting. |

But your our grand wizard of grammar Ashton! Without your guidance, we'll end up spewing internet talk and slang at one another. As if it wasn't hard enough for Vanessa, Henk, and the rest of our non-English speaking members as it is.
You've never come off as annoying to me Ashton. Your corrections help us all to retain some of our civility instead of falling prey to 1337 speech and the like. |

Alright, alright, I get the message. I'll start correcting again. Far be it from me to let our fine community degenerate into internet slang and 1337 speak. |

While we're on the subject of correcting, I hope the two of you don't mind:

I'll try to resist from now on though. You don't need more than one person correcting. |

But that's such a permanent solution. Instead, simply "shave" him bald. It's both punishment and hilarity without permanent damage. |

*Runs a straight blade up and down a leather strap, sharpening it to ready for the shaving, then stops and looks up in a moment of thought.* Is there a barber amongst the members? |

I think one of the new members was considering a barber as their profession, but I think they chose something else instead. So many new members recently that I've lost track. |
