I have to be a pallbearer in a funeral coming up. My best friends mother died and we've known each other since sixth grade. His son (who calls me Uncle Eddie), can't understand why his gramma had to leave.

The whole situation has me run down to nuthin'. What affects you in RL, affects you here. Lookin' back over my previous posts, I'm startin' to feel like either a troll or an attention whore at best. It wasn't my intention, but when it comes to fittin' in with new people... my efforts are Full of Fail!

So what should I do? Stick it out or make tracks and spare everyone my clownish antics?

This place has a great vibe and couldn't forgive myself if I was screwin' it up...

I too have acted the clown here from time to time. Who doesn't!
If you like it here then stay and never think you are being a burden eveyone counts here. I for one think the forum would be all the poorer if you left.

Oh Chaos, don't be so hard on yourself. Plenty of us here have goofed around as well. I can't say I've started up a pie fight, but I've teased and made fun of some of my fellow members.

At least you two have been brightening others' days. I feel I've been nothing but a sex tease around here. Especially with some of my topics and replies. Embarassed

We all have our ups and downs. I wouldn't say you've been a troll. You add in here and there. That's what a forum is for. You've caused me to chuckle, and plenty of the members have interacted accordingly.

Johnny can catch trolls fairly quick, and Ashton is a man of ethical code. If either of them say to hold back, then maybe consider it. Until you have such a request to leave from a handful of members or the staff, I'd say the day's stress has just gotten to you.

chaos trust me you are not a burden... it's nice to have someone who acts like me on forums (every other forum i have been to i have got banned from...) so it's nice to see others like me...

and mystic i do not see you as a sex tease i see you as a woman who knows what she is doing and knows what she wants .

To be honest, based on your recent activity, I've been getting an impression of you not being in the best of moods. And now I can see why.

I think that you should do what makes you happy. If there are threads or discussions that you enjoy more than others, then focus on them. Try not to dwell too much on the negative things, or if you must, try considering how you can change them to something positive instead. I've had great times on other boards turn bad as well, pretty much because I kept getting involved in things that didn't make me happy. And that's really just a waste of time.

I think that the simple fact that you feel some kind of guilt shows that you're not an Internet troll. From my experience, trolls feel little to no remorse about griefing others.

But in any case, I don't think that anybody would say that they would want a member to leave PBB. I think that you should stay.

Also, I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry to hear that, Chaos. I don't think you're acting like a troll at all. Pretty much everything I would want to say has already been said. If you want to take a break, take a break, but don't feel that you have to for everyone else's sake, as I'm pretty sure nobody has a problem with you.

Mystic, even if you were just a sex tease (which, by the way, you are not - you are so much more), I wouldn't mind. I don't know about anyone else, but a good tease can be quite enjoyable. Wink

I have to agree with what's already been said, Chaos. I am sorry for your loss, most sorry, and I don't think you're a person worth expelling from our ranks. You are a positive influence here and I urge you to stay.

These responses were not what I expected. Attempts in the past on previous forums ended... far less positively. In regards to the people here, I was wrong in thinking the negative... and for that I apologize.

Staying would be the better choice. I thank you for being patient with me. I'm not normally this... unstable, but I promise to work on it. Wink

In the meantime, if I step out of line... please, PLEASE tell me before it gets out of hand. I'm kinda impulsive. Embarassed
