((Well, I guess the message says it all... even if you aren't Irish, everyone is on Saint Patricks Day. Shoot, I've been known to even not drink my signature Sangria, and pop back a 6-pack of Irish Reds on Saint Patty's Day.

I believe St. Patrick's Day is on the 17th.
It was supposely changed to March 15th last year (2008) because of the Roman Catholilc Church. (well it was only for last year). But I think some people still had it on March 17th last year still.
* Changed by the Roman Catholic Church to avoid conflict with Holy Monday that falls on 3/17. |

| I tend to have mixed feeling over the general acceptance of St. Pattys. Certainly I enjoy the opportunity to drink on the town with my friends, however the simple volume of beer being consumed contributes to the downfall of respect for beer. Its times like this that keep beer from owning a spot on the ladder next to fine wines or spirits. And as someone who appreciates beer as an art, this bothers me a little bit. Oh well. |

Now that's the lead of an interesting St. Patty's Day story that I've never heard.
I worked on said day, so I didn't get to do anything. That's okay, most of my friends didn't get to do anything for it, and will probably all get together on the weekend. |
