Not really, I just didn't like Maxi and at the time thought it was fun to consider him a homo. In reality, I have several friends that are either bi or gay, so I don't really have a problem with it. |

Finally some one who likes both sexes to. I'm also bi and taking from both sides has some extras but some people can't understand it.

In the Soul Calibur games, the "button-mash" character is definitely Maxi. In Tekken, it would be Eddie Gordo or any other capoera-style fighters.
Anyway, back on topic, it's interesting that Cassandre has chosen a character with such a violent background. I don't think any other female forum member has a character with a violent occupation... The closest we have is probably the ex-spy turned maid, Tiagra. That and the in-comic creation of Vanessa's, Sakura Harukaze the kunoichi/geisha.
Wonder how the town became such a magnet for assassins and mercenaries...  |

| I blame Assassin's Creed, personally. My own experience, as I may have mentioned, was inspired more by Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles (Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned, etc.) Rather than go the vampire route, however, I opted for a profession that would work under a similar premise, an assassin. In the writings, I believe I failed to accurately mirror any resemblance to characters from the books. Though I consider Samuel to be somewhat similar to Louis with the Mask being a similar figure to Lestat as they were in Interview with the Vampire. |

| If anyone's interested in seeing a story about assassins set during the late-Victorian/early-Edwardian Eras, I suggest checking out the movie The Assassination Bureau. It's a funny little comedy about a league of assassins, all done in a tongue-in-cheek style of humor. I'm sure it's not as action-packed as many of today's movies (it was made in 1969), but it's clever and definitely seems to have a bit of the whimsy the older "James Bond" movies have. Plus Oliver Reed plays a great "gentleman assassin", in my opinion: debonair, but slightly under-handed (in a "sly wink to the audience" sort of way, at least) |

Well, I figured that having a female assassin would be an interesting twist, when you consider most assassins that rely on brute force like she does, quite a bit, are usually men. No offense, but its true. And when someone thinks of an assassin who has to think out either a difficult or complicated situation, they usually think of a female. Same with seducing victims.
Mostly female assassins get sent in to do the more..'delicate' work. The kind that requires..say, poison, or seduction.
Females will pretty much always be used to seduce, because, well, we can seduce most anyone.

So your Tira or Cassandra? I'm Ivy myself. Nothing like having a powerful unblockable hit that can kill someone if you do it twice in succession, at least it did in the 2nd one. I liked the whole sword/chainwhip idea. Its just a pain to get in the right stance sometimes. *sweatdrop*
Did I catch that right. A "hint of insanity?" Is that for your character or because you seem a bit giddy and schitzo yourself? |

I'm Tira, all the way. I love the weapons. Like hula hoops from hell. But Ivy is my second fave. They both kick ass.
A hint of insanity...Well, she was in a mental facility for six years, and only just recently escaped. Also because I'm a tad bit spastic, specially since I'm dating Ash. (Not Ashton) |
