I can't see much changing with Tsavo if it was modern times. He'd still have an ex-military background and he'd still open a hole in the wall, dive bar. |

Amethyst would surely have the same occupation; Photographer. Though it would be kind of a different job in 2009 then in 1895, technology progress ya know...
Mostly she would take pictures of half-naked men for the women's magazines *holds up a camera* Say cheese!

Takes off his flack jacket leaveing him self with only his pants and a chain that holds his badge around his neck dangeling on his chest.

Ooh!

Holds still, hopeing that Amethyst would be quick before Henk takes notest of him being half naked. |

Were Feingo to be here in 2009, well... lets see...
I'd still have to say he'd be former military, and, oh, I don't know, perhapse he'd be in a band. Always wanted to take my bass playing further, perhapse that's whaty he'd do. |

Symphony,
Somehow, I more see you as either some sort of like R&B musician... or some hard-core punk rocker... like Lita Ford. I dunno why, but I can totally see you in torn-up jeans and black hair.

You know, I could see that.

So... I guess I'd have to do something different, as pretty much every place would sell cigars and cigarettes, and being a mini-shop owner competing with guys like Winston and Phillip-Morris, I'd have to do something different... well... maybe I'd work for like Sam Adams as a brewmaster, or designing better beer yeast or something. Yeah, I know... lame.
|
Lame? Lame?! That's not lame, that's one of the most beautiful professions in the world!
As for Xeb's profession, he'd most likely be a professor at some second rate university somewhere. You know, the kind that teaches maybe three classes a year and spends the rest of his time buried in his study. The only big change would be a shift of his studies to astronomy. |

Well... *Thinks hard* I think Drodel would still be a blacksmith but in Japan making Katana's. |

Well, that would depend if Mystic has settled off on her own by then. If not, part of Labrn's duties would be to keep a vigilant look out over her, as always.
Otherwise, hmm...perhaps running a bar & grill, get together, or something along those lines. That way, providing us all a place to gather together and share stories with one another. |

Hmm. Tadelesh would either be a street magician or a professional conman. Probably the former, rather than the latter. Hrm. Somewhere between David Blaine and Derren Brown, I think. |

I can imagine. Are there any local breweries where you could at least get a start? I can't imagine that someone talented and back by a college degree wouldn't be able to break into the field somewhere. |

I've sometimes thought about it myself, but I always wanted to put that kind of education into medical research than food science... Who knows? Might end up in that business, myself. Got an interview to deal with another kind of brew. Coffee company, of all things. Not what I'd want... But they might be people who'd actually pay me. |

I'm surprised that we haven't seen anyone pick an adult occupation for their fursona in 2009.
If I had to pick something like that, I think that Constance would make one fine stripper. With that tall athletic body of hers, and those long powerful legs, I think it would be amazing to watch her do some pole dancing.
Alternatively, she could be a really naughty teacher. |

Ah, coffee. The third half of what forms my life's blood. And just because you're cooking up new and wonderfuly delicious forms of coffee doesn't mean you can't also contribute to medical science. Some headache medicine's contain some form of caffeine, after all. |

I'm only assuming that you mean "an occupation in adult entertainment/sex industry", rather than you calling everyone else's occupations in here "juvenile" or something... Though I'll be the first to admit, there's a touch of "avoiding responsibility" when it comes to being a club DJ for a living...
Plus, I did say "2009 Johnny" was likely a struggling actor. Who's to say he hasn't had to resort to taking roles in some rather sketchy films every now and then just to get by?... |

Yes, like a pornstar. Now who wants to be a pornstar?
As interesting as these types of professions are, I really think that I'd stick with my first picks. It's just fun to come up with ideas. |
