I've drawn the storyboard of the minicomic dedicated to Zone, that was ideated by Gantros in this topic:

Ronald agrees with the modalities that I stated before, in the post that I'm Gonna copy here:
of course, this minicomic must be done as an aside, since the presence of magic wouldn't fit in the storyline, I hope that you'll understand, I can't just change the rules of PBB according to the situation. Therefore we'll put in a caption that says "And now, make way for the fantasy, a nice introduction in honor of Zone's first brand new animation for PBB! What would happen if Zone herself were to attend the premiere of her own animation?"
The alternative is to switch the updates of the comic with the one dedicated to Zone, since I just can't do the pages of PBB at the same time...
The only free moment would be the one between the end of issue #7 and the start of issue #8, and I'll need at least three pages.

The pages will be four, I did my best to compact everything, plus one cover. The cover will be the idea suggested by Johnny SixKiller: Zone in a victorian dress holding in her arms the plush dolls of PBB's characters. Smile

I'm gonna show you in advance the first three pages of storyboard, that isn't the definitive one, many things must still be changed, it's still indicative.

Now it's up to you to decide, vote what you want to see at the end of this issue of PBB
The answer that will get over 50% of the votes two weeks before the end of the current issue of PBB will win; I'll close the poll when the moment for deciding will come.

PS: Personally, I'll vote yes. It'd be good advertising for PBB, Zone would be very happy, and it'd be a way to thank Gantros's effort in the deal Smile

Being a person who likes the comic itself, I'm sure that this AU side story will be more than adequate given the fact that she is taking time away from other projects, even if she is being paid to do so.

The storyboard is hilarious, and fits my idea perfectly. But I am a bit concerned about violating the no [word censored] rule, considering Randy actually tried to kiss Zone-Tan, rather than hit on her verbally as I described.

Agree with Mr. Gantros. Perhaps, Ms. Vanessa, you should discuss with CCBill, show them the storyboard, and, hopefully, they'll approve the comic, so you won't be breaking the rule. :3

I voted no. To be honest, I've never been particularly interested in flash animations, and I haven't really taken part in this project. I think it's cool that there's being one made for PBB, but I don't I'll try it more than once.

so that's probably why I'm not particularly interested in this side comic either. I hate to say something negative about your work, Vanessa, but I find it a bit disappointing to know that the comic will be put on hold for four weeks, to make way for something I'm not personally interested in or too thrilled about paying for. Sad

You know, Symphony. I was about to voted no, as well and the same reason as you.

The reason I voted yes was because Ms. Vanessa had already did the storyboard and had already planned out the plot. Maybe is selfish of me saying this, but I'm always looking forward of what Ms. Vanessa is cooking up for us.

But, of course, is up to the rest of us to decide whether Ms. Vanessa continue this side comic or not. ^^!

Which makes me feel relieved, since I really hate to post a negative opinion like I've done here, because I come here to talk about positive things and to share thoughts on what we like and such.

I was a little worried that someone might react negatively to the views I've presented here.

I can relate to your opinion because is the almost the same as mine, but unlike me, you have the courage to say what you want to say, negative or positive comments, and don't care what others say because almost all of your post are mostly reasonable and is some people like me could relate to. :3

I think its fun and I voted yes, however I agree with Gantros. I think that the staff should take extra special care to cover all their bases when it comes to the LOL CENSOR LOL rule. I would hate to navigate over and find adspace one day. Crying or Very sad

Symphony, I'm happy that you're being sincere, your opinion is worth a lot to me since you're always very active in the discussion and you open some interesting new ones. Smile

The only reason why I've proposed this is because many are enthusiastic about it and it'd act as support for PBB in case the voice spread among the Zone fans that don't know the furry... I've heard that on a chan they mocked a bit Zone for joining the ranks of the "furfags"... maybe because they don't know how PBB is and have some prejudices.
Maybe this comis will share the sad fate of sharing... I hope not, but in such a case it could also pique the interest of some non-furry fan of Zone that this way could change his mind.

Well, hopefully the short attention span of the average /b/tard will work in our favor, and any anti-furry backlash that may or may not result from this flash will be small and brief. Besides, I don't think it's really something to be worried about... Haters will always exist to hate, but as long as the flash catches the eye of the right sort of folks and gets them interested in the site, it should be worth it in the end.

On topic: I voted "no" only because I don't want to see our dear Vanessa overwork herself. I already stated that a one-page pinup should be more than sufficient to show any sort of gratitude for Zone's work. Afterall, Zone is getting paid for this, whereas Vanessa is doing this just out of her own generosity. Plus, on a more selfish note, I don't want to see a delay in the actual comic. That's it...

I think we can all agree you're doomed Vanessa. The only reason anyone would vote no, is either Gantros is being shy and doesn't want more air time, or to save you time away from the main comic.

You know...this got me thinking of something: Since Xivk does not have his avatar drawn yet, and he was one of the people who donated for the Zone flash, does this mean we will see his fursona in the mini-comic? :3

Although I would rather have more updates to the PBB series,
I must vote, "Yes"
This mini-comic would be a smart investment. Zone's animation is what got me to reconsider joinning BonBon, when I first came across this site a year ago , I loved the art work but the fees where at the time " not worth it" When the announcement for you joint BonBon and Zone project was announced I gave PBB a second look , I decided to give it a try. I have no regrets about joining and I plan to stay as long as my financial situation is stable.

I believe that the continued friendship between PBB and Zone will bring in more members, just like I did. I can wait longer for PBB updates if it means the continued survival and prosperity of BonBon. My highest hope is when the mini series is completed, among the members that may join a few Artist may join the PBB rank as well ; I'm guessing that more Artist might lighten the load on Vanessa and other PBB artists (i don't know what tasks the artists have [the exception being Vanessa and MLock], If what I'm saying is completely incorrect please disregard everything )

But I must also express my concerns,
With increased advertisement comes a greater risk of being noticed by the "wrong type of people" ; when I say "wrong type of people " I'm referring to internet trolls, hackers, and other people who would harass and exploit our site just for kicks. Others may feel they don't have to pay for membership if they just steal our content and post it on torrent websites that will refuse to remove the stolen content, which will cause a decrease in membership.

I've said what i felt needed to be said, sorry if none of it makes sense Smile
